This Book Will Change Your Life

Hysterical Living by Benrik

* So...! Is your middle toe the prettiest ?
* Bake naked day
* Deposit a drop of urine and let others know this book
belongs to you
* Do not accept change if less than 30cents
* Speak extra loud to people with names
beginning with R

ps. No it have not changed my life yet, it just provide me with endless Inspired Hysteria. It is a list of 365 daily tasks. Daily suggestions range from the practical ("leave a copy of your house keys with a friend"), to the silly ("tattoo a banana") to the bizarre ("bleed here", "kill something today"), to those that really make you think (prepare your famous last words, write a letter to psychos or to the futures).

Seduced into having new thoughts, pondering thrilling actions! No idea is too crazy or impossible for the mind to chew on. If you are some creative criminals on the loose... you're in the right spot. A place where you share your crazy experiences.

Bottom line, we need ideas. A recipe for permanent revolution in people's imaginations, encouraging them to reinvent themselves every day of their lives. It has spawned a worldwide cult and is now in its fourth year.

I like books ... but do they really change my life? I think all my surroundings does and did change me in many ways.

haha... I feel you.
It's kinda of hard to understand unless you get the book. So this book is filled with 365 pages of cool graphics with random daily tasks (not so much on reading) . Meaning from DAY 1. till dec31st. If you are a hardcore gutsy follower of this book, I bowed down to you. Cos I tried and I'd only managed to finish 60% out of the 365 tasks.

What others say abt the tasks in the book. ?
(an excerpts from a google review -http://daily.stanford.edu/article/2005/2/14/thisBookWillChangeMyLifeGoddammit)
" ...my favorite is the page with a small box and instructions to "lure a fly here and swat it."
Doing such things, claim the authors, Benrik (that's Ben and Henrik - clever), will not only change my life, but instigate a lifetime full of change. Positive change, I hope, though I'm starting to have my suspicions.

Some of the days I checked off right away, such as Day 18, "kill something day," thanks to a recent ant infestation. I've also done Day 8, " addiction-free day," because I'm not cool enough to have any addictions, though I hope I will soon. Day 30, "ignore today," was an easy one, too.

Among the tasks I still have to catch up on: Day 29, on which I will read a dense, page-long sermon in a deep Southern accent to someone at a random phone number. Also, Day 22, on which I will try to convince someone I don't know to meet up with me in ten years' time. If you don't know me, drop me a line. In ten years, my life will have changed and I'll be so cool. Preternaturally cool, cool like Marlon Brando, back when he was cool. I have it on the word of Ben and Henrik. But you'll have to show up in ten years to see. " ~
