We've launched our newest project at Blue Flavor: Leaflets.
"Leaflets are small, mobile web-based applications you access from Safari on your iPhone. And since Leaflets are designed to run fast over AT&T's EDGE network, you can use them anywhere: no wi-fi required."
Go check it out, www.getleaflets.com.

is there a gadget to plays itunes through your stereo that works for the iphone? I have a Griffin hook up right now for my ipod and car stereo that works just fine, but it doesn't work with my son's iphone.

All you need is a headphone adapter, such as the Belkin model you can buy on Apple's Online Store. It's 10 bucks and will work with your car a/v cable, radio transmitter, or cassette adapter.

Wonder how fast you can type on your iPhone? Well, take the iPhone Typing Test and share your speed!
I average around 35-40 words per minute (WPM) on my iPhone.

Got my iPhone today...
Some issues so far:
EDGE is SO DAMN SLOW!
Speakerphone volume is pretty soft
Keypad is hard to get use to
But it's really worth it. Goodbye 650 bucks! Hello smile every-time I get a call.

Don't worry, you'll get used to the keypad. As for the speakerphone, they EQ'd the sound for some reason, not realizing people lare used to the harshness of the sound. I have a feeling they will change that later.
EDGE is fast in Los Angeles, so i think that is location specific.
Enjoy

I'm in Los Angeles, and my Blackberry was a lot quicker with checking my email. Of course, it didn't have the same email capabilities... but I sort of miss it. And yes, I got use to the keyboard... which is evident in this post. :-)
Also, I was sort of bummed that the iPhone didn't come with iChat, but I found a website that works pretty damn well with your AIM: iphone.beejive.com ... it should hold you over until (hopefully) there's an update that has an iChat app.

My EDGE connection is very fast for me here in Central Illinois. It depends on where you're at...you might have low signal.

i'm almost positive flash will be added in a forthcoming update.
#4 annoys me too. I'm almost tempted to just keep my yahoo push as the only email account on my iphone and set up an applescript on my computer that will foreward any non- spam to the yahoo account.
Sent on my iPhone

the lack of copy & paste would ruin my life. that's all i do. about the email thing, you should do just what jason said. my phone's camera is way better than the iphone's. i have flash and zoom and 3.2 mp. also, i heard the iphone doesn't have voicedialing. is that true? can you make recordings w/ it?

#1:
Walt Mossberg answers a number of common iPhone questions but also suggests that a Flash plug-in will be coming soon from Apple.
At launch, the iPhone version of the Safari browser is missing some plug-ins needed for playing common types of Web videos. The most important of these is the plug-in for Adobe%u2019s Flash technology. Apple says it plans to add that plug-in through an early software update, which I am guessing will occur within the next couple of months.
Adobe's Flash plug-in is required to play Flash content which is commonly used in certain aspects of web design and web-hosted videos. Apple managed to get around this requirement with Youtube by converting Youtube content into h.264, which the iPhone supports natively.

let the bragging (and let's face it- complaining) begin!
unfortunately, i can't get an iphone yet. and i'm not even sure that i want it until at least 2nd generation comes out. today i got a k790 tho. it's pretty badass. plus i didn't have to pay anything for it cos my work bought it.
i'm still jealous of those of you who get to play with your shiny new iphones tho. but it's a smaller jealousy than i would've had before i got my phone.

the iphone is fantastic tho. three of my friends have them and i must admit i'm slightly jealous.
