iPhone

Apple reinvents the phone.

iPhone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device.

iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

WOO! 500th member, that's a good number.
Anyway, i'm planning on getting an iPhone sometime soon.
Any suggestions on good apps?
Does anyone have Tap Tap Revolution?
If so what do you think?

ZunePhone Getting Closer, Closer, Closer, ....
ZunePhone, ZunePhone, ZunePhone, ZunePhone, ........
That's all I seem to hear from everybody where ever I go! As I told you people back in July, "ZunePhone is getting closer!" It's closer than it was back then by several months.
I can confirm that among the massive feature list of the "ZuP" (as I like to call it) will be:

4g Network capability
FM Radio
Clock
Lo-res GPS
Terra-Server DirectAccess
WhisperPhone Technology
Volume Control
SilverLight Animation
IE 8 (Light Edition)
IndirectBuy Technology
Micropedia

The list goes on and on and on .......
That's why it's taking us so long, we are doing this the Microsoft way! RIGHT!
Sure Apple sent over their little snitches and sneak-thieves and stole our ZuP Alpha Mock ups (which they used to make the iPhone), but we will let that slide.

Get the "Real Thing!" Zup! Coming closer, closer, closer, closer, clo...........

OktoPrep and TouchFree. I'm running it right now... worked perfectly. Though I'm sure you've already heard of it since you posted that question 3 weeks ago...

Just downloaded this app on my phone called Boopsie. It's so cool, it searches the web while you are typing, so usually you find what you're looking for in about 3 letters or even less! For example I want to search for a Starbucks in the area, so I type "st", and an option for a Starbucks Store Locator appears which takes you directly to the site! Im totally hooked, try it out on www.boopsie.com

Haven't used it yet. I just created a special Gmail account for my phone that I bounce everything to.

jailbreakme.com

Surf over to the above URL on your 1.1.1 iPhone and you can hack it from the browser. So far things seem to be working fine. The only problem that I'm having is that the customization of the extended SpringBoard doesn't work, so I can order my extra app icons the way I'd like too. It's not the biggest deal, but it's slightly annoying.

My iPhone is fine so far... except for the fact that I screwed up the ssh when trying to change from the default root password and I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to ssh into the phone again (which makes quite a few apps pointless). Besides that though (lol), it's awesome...
