The most entertaining experience that I've had at the movies in a long, long time. It started with me spilling my entire bag of peanut M&M's (which proceeded to roll down the entire sloped floor in an avalanche of candy-shell wrapped milk chocolate) and concluded with me kicking over my popcorn when I jumped up as the boot came down! I was so offended by the mess I left that I vacated the premises faster than you can say Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich (not to worry though, I left the poor guy that had to clean up my mess a Fiver on the seat).
Bottom Line: Grindhouse was phenomenal! (and if I could find another 3 hours (and a theater still playing it) I'd be watching it again!

The gore was *almost* too much for me. Especially Quentin's rape scene ;) But over all, it was awesome. "Thanksgiving" looked hilarious. I think I'd actually go see it if it was made. XD

Grindhouse is a great flick. To get the most of it, you have to bring a pile of people expecting to see bad, cheesy movies at a theatre with as large a container of popcorn as you can financially get away with. I try to convince others to go see the film, and they say they'll "wait until it hits DVD", which is a shame.... it is *made* for a theatre. It just wouldn't be the same!
Warning for those who haven't gone yet: either get a *small* drink of have a *strong* bladder. There is no intermission, and the middle "trailers" between Planet Terror and Death Proof are worth watching.
BTW, Death Proof's soundtrack is out. Where's Planet Terror soundtrack?

Grindhouse exceeded my expectations. The film is incredible and is now in my top ten list of all time favorite films. If you love violence, kick ass babes, zombies, blood, gore, humor, villains, car chases, heroes and just a great time at the movies, Grindhouse is for you. What are you waiting for? Get your ass out of your basement and to a movie theater!
