I am really dissapointed in the last few episodes, you'd think since they are coming to the end of the show they would make the last few really great, but lasts nights almost put me to sleep. I can only hope the finally is good, but I've heard that Richard Dean Anderson is not in it, I was really hoping he would be :(

hey pplz, i love SG1 to death, i subscribed to the DVD/Mag thingo and have whiole seasons from 1-8 and waiting on 9, even though i've seen the last ep, i was forced to torrent season 9-10 cause i'm in australia and they just finished season 9 like 3 months ago, and i had to keep up, i was heatrt broken for a good week when i found out GS-1 was shutting down :( but hey we still have atlantis, even though nothing will loive up to tealc :D he's my heroe, lol some ppl have superman i like Tealc!!!!
anyways i cant wait to see the DVD's !!!!

Hey, did anyone see the final SG1 episode on Sky One last night? I was a little disappointed, but I knew the episode would be left open-ended ready for the Stargate TV/DVD movies.

I saw it, I thought it was alright, one of those where I sat there open mouthed looking at the screen because I hadn't got a clue how they were going to play out the episode. I really want to discuss it but don't want to spoil it for others! The episode did tie up quite well, not the usual cliffhanger, which was strange because all the cast had signed up for Season 11 already so I would have thought that it would have been a cliffhanger.
I'm still rooting for another season, I don't think the movies will be adequate for people used to the 21 episode seasons. Even so I will still buy them.

I thought it was pretty good for a last episode, it let the writers do some character development without interfering with actual continuity, pounded home the little message that 'life is too short' while still finishing on a hopeful, forward-looking note.

O thought it was okay. I think the season as a whole was good. I still can't believe it's been ten years. The loss of RDA really hurt the series but with any luck they'll bring bits of SGI back to Atlantis from time to time.

Yeah, the most recent seasons aren't very good, probably due to Richard Dean Anderson leaving. I'm still watching it though, just finished watching the newest episode of season 10. It's a shame it was cancelled in the US. I don't think the films they are planning on making to tie up the loose ends will be good enough, but films are better than nothing.
