Ben Folds, yes, one of my favorites. He's a good example of someone who can be really clever with his lyrics, but sometimes just writes crap songs to please his teenage audience. I'm not a fan of his more dirty songs, but the ones that have good meaning are amazing! One of my absolute favorites is Fred Jones Pt. 2
...I feel that way sometimes, as a musician.

There seems to be a lot of focus on the recent recordings, and I must say that I am partial to the oldies / goodies! Let's not forget that Ben Folds 'One' began with Ben Folds Five. I would like to give a few large internet boo-yahs to:
- Selfless Cold & Composed
- Philosophy
- Underground
- Evaporated
- Eddie Walker
What are a few of your early favorites?

I think that all kids in high school should be forced to listen to "There's Always Somone Cooler Than You" and "Learn to Live with What You Are".

I love a lot of his B-Sides, like Hiro's Song, The Secret Life of Morgan Davis, Bruised. I also love all of his character pieces, like Cigarette and Fred Jones Part II, Kate, Gracie, Not The Same, etc. I also like every song on every album he's done. How's that? I'm flying to Pennsylvania to see him for the first time, and it's turning me into a giddy little school girl.
