About

This little page is about me the Illinois-native currently living in Music City USA ... one of the South's great cities ... where I met my Indiana-native bride who's world will be made even better when we relocate out West or to Europe someday. Yeah, we're pretty much interested in that place that lies just around the corner-especially if we've never been there before-but we're quite content at our current address with each other and our furry girl, Sundae.

I make photographs for a living, and my wife makes sure premature babies are able to enter this great world when they really should be "curled up and cooking" in the womb a little longer.

Useless Trivia #1: The #1 hit song on the day I was born was "(They Long To Be) Close To You" by The Carpenters. Oh look at the birds.

Useless Trivia #2: "I read _______________ for the pictures."

Useless Trivia #3: Concerts I wish I could have experienced before the musicians died or disbanded....ABBA, Boston, Patsy Cline, John Denver, Kansas (Steve Walsh version as well as John Elefante version), Roy Orbison, Hank Williams.

I've been able to meet many of my musical heroes and idols, but I'd still like to meet Tony Bennett, Ron Block, Garth Brooks, Jerry Douglas, Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, Dan Tyminski, and Gene Simmons (you read that right).

From the sports world, I'd like to meet Lance Armstrong, Jan Ullrich, Mike Ditka, and the late Walter Payton.

From the world-changers crowd (whether still living or not), these amazing people are must-meets: Ansel Adams, Billy Graham, Mother Theresa, C.S. Lewis, Abraham Lincoln, Brennan Manning, Wilbur & Orville Wright (inventors of the bicycle).
