Exploder came into existence when 4 friends decided to use their musical powers for good. Jon, Matt, Scott, and Chris started playing together in 2003. Coming from completely different musical backgrounds, they decided to spend a few months just playing what felt natural. The only thing that came out was fun, poppy songs that they and all of their friends could sing along to.

Eventually they went their seperate ways since none of them could escape the requirements of life - work, school, family, etc. The good news is that in 2007 they reformed - with a bonus. Mark Stickney signed on to play the piano. During the bands break they were able to grow both musically and as people, and became more confident of who they were and what their purpose was.

Now a 5 peice, Exploder is combining the sing-a-longable lyrics and high-energy pop music with a new found passion for high voltage rock.

And rock they will.
