Eleonora Cutaia
Profile By Pioneer Pro DJ
The entrepreneurial and multi-talented DJ Eleonora Cutaia may be best known for her Underground Soul mixes on Expansion Records, but her sound stretches much further than one genre - as DJsounds found out when we tracked down the lady herself during Miami WMC.
Born in Italy but currently living in London, Eleonora is an up-and-coming
eclectic selector who enjoys being involved in many different aspects of
the music/media business, and even features as a character in The Trouble with Katie Rogers comic strip.
From DJing to setting up her own label, Stilnovo Music, and promotions
company, AheadPR, Eleonora balances her activities for optimum output
whilst travelling around the world to spread the musical word.
Be it deep house or techy electronica, she has DJ'd at a wide range of
venues such as Jazz Café, Turnmills and Fabric, where she was hand picked to perform by (and alongside) US jock King Britt. Then there have been the exclusive VIP functions, where Eleonora has had the pleasure of spinning to top officials and celebrities alike. Back in her native Italy, meanwhile, she DJs for the dance network Radio M2o, on the Soundzrise show.
This video clip sees DJsounds hooking up with Eleonora both on the beach for an interview and later at the lush Art of Seduction night at Hotel Victor, Miami. Here she rocked the room, starring on a line-up that included King Britt, Vikter Duplaix and DJ Rashida.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!
