History

Eternal Golden Void was started in 1993 by Mike Grenz from the ashes of Wirehead, a dark electronic band heavily influenced by horror movies and cyberpunk. EGV was started to further explore music in a non conventional way, without falling into easy categorization. The Eternal Golden Void was placed on pause sometime in 2005, in order to to explore even deeper, stranger musical leanings. As of early 2008, there are numerous collaborative side projects currently being worked on with fellow genre-terrorist MonkeyPlus1.
