Hello from eGIG.mobi , we are a free, new mobile website that is planning to launch a huge marketing campaigne directed at people looking for local information about bands playing in their area (our visitors can check whats going on in their city by area code look-up). Ads will be displayed in schools, subways/busses and internet. Sign your band up now and benefit from thousands of people checking out our website weekly (and is only going to get bigger). We need about 100 bands to signup for our big launch (did I mention its all free?). Bands are encouraged to place their bio's, tour dates as well as a sample song so that visitors can listen to it if they don't know your band. You will also receive apon registration a widget that advertises that you are listed on eGIG and can place it on your site for your fans to check out. PLEASE stop by and submit your band, you have nothing to loose and lots of fans to gain!
Side note- .mobi will become huge as its the default extension for mobile internet browsing. Millions of people are starting to use their cell phones/pda's everyday to surf the net for instant information while they are out and about. Mobi websites are smaller so they load up in quick and fit on a small cell phone display Be apart of this cutting edge industry.
