I can't believe it's taken me this long.
For those of you who don't know about this, Apple changed the dates for the Macworld expo this year a while back, bumping it forward about a week or so. Oddly enough there have been some difficulties getting keynote access this year. Many of the regulars that get in have not recieved notification until recently, possibly because of a surplus of people trying to get in.
This will seem obvious to you, but I just figured it out and have been freaking out about it for a while now, so stfu.
I'd wager that there are extra people at the keynote and at Macworld because many that would normally choose to go to CES will now also be attending Macworld. I think the reason they moved Macworld up is because this was Bill's last keynote, and it would have cut into their audience. Alternately, they might also have something big in store this year (although last year's set an awfully high bar and I'd speculate they won't pass it).
