As you may know by now, my name is indeed Dustin[Taylor]Phillips and I am 21 from the Minneapolis, MN area. I adore music and everything revolved around it. Drums was my first passion for 16 years, piano next for 12 years, guitar and vocals for 9 years, and bass for 3 years. Songwriting as a musician and producer has been a huge part of my life as of the past 8 years. I spend most of my time rocking out with others or by myself, otherwise I love meeting new music fanatics.

I have strong motivation and plan on "making it" in this business. I just graduated from McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, MN for Music Business and hope to figure out the music industry a little more. I'm not quite sure exactly what I am going to do with my degree, but I'm thinking along the lines of Band Management, Recording, or Graphic Design/Marketing. Of course the real plan is to be a rock star.
The group I perform in, Thru The Static (myspace.com/thruthestatic), has been playing locally around and just released our second album... check us out! I am a solo artist looking for talented musicians to rock with. I'm looking for local talent in drums, guitar, bass, vocals, etc. to rock out on my solo project. I am also available in drums, guitar, bass, and/or vocals to jam with other musicians and bands, or work for hire!

I love the song! Thanks for asking me to be a friend. Acctually the crazy thing about Quietdrive is that I had to give my dog away and I gave her away to Matt Kirby's family (Matt Kirby from Quietdrive). That's how I got into their music. Pretty sweet?
