Laptop/guitar duo based between Montreal, Canada & Lyon, France, .cut starts in 1992 as a distorted electronics solo project.
The guitarorist gibet first joined .cut for a semi-improvised show at the Kafé Myzik in Lyon in january 2003.
This noisy guitar minimal electronics performance was compared to a cross between Merzbow and Godspeed You! Black Emperor; since then our "industrial post-rock" has been compared to Mogwai, Psychic TV and Cabaret Voltaire.
