i'm about as ordinary as can be, but i've seen unbelievable things and the weight of them burns inside of me. well, a lot of things have changed and i have to make this known. i've never done a lot of things that a lot of folks have done, i pretty much just keep to myself and i don't have much experience with anything except for- well, life. but i, like anyone who has ever lived, have an incredible need to be loved and that was a problem. i didn't want to bother anyone, but how can we afford to ignore this need when it shapes every molecule of who we are? it feels like an invasive disease at times if we take the time to look at it, but if it is a disease then it plagues each and every life that has ever breathed. thus, we take different approaches to this need. my approach was to say that i hated myself. i said this almost every day of my life. it wasn't really true, but at times it seemed like the most true statement on the planet.

Hey, girl. Just wanted to say hello. I checked out your poetry and enjoyed it quite a bit. I really like how reflective you are and I think that would speak to a lot of people who aren't sure how to voice their thoughts. Keep it up!
