Okibi (real name Chris Wakefield) is an up-and-coming DJ and producer hailing from Victoria, Canada, spinning several sub-genres in the drum and bass spectrum; from jump up to liquid funk. On the production side of things Okibi uses a wide array of sequencing software, most notably Ableton Live. He produces drum & bass, breaks, dubstep, and house, and when called upon, acts as a human beatbox and MC. In late 2006 he founded Union Sound System. Outside of music Okibi rallies for human rights through social activism, and take pleasure in directing and producing independent films.
