I am a senior at Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC. I am in love with Cindy and we are going to get married in a few years :).
Body: I am roughly 1.8 m (~ 5 ft 10 in) and 62 kg (~ 136 lbs). I recently worked out for a long time and, like an idiot, did not take weight training for my second semester in school; so, I am pretty much losing all that muscle (that is why I weigh so little) because I do not have a convenient workout center (and pushups are boring, but I still do them lol).
Personality: I am a very rational person, or at least I strive to be. I try to find the most efficient way to do boring things to get them over with lol. I am an INTJ according to random personality tests. This means this: I am Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. I am probably what you would call a geek, and I am proud of it lol.
Religion: I do not believe in a God, and I trust 100% in science because it is the study of what is real. I, however, do not think that there could not be a God, but at this point I feel that if there is one then nobody has it right, and he/it would not be omniscient, omnipotent, etc. and would not interact with humans. If there is a god, then I believe that it merely triggered the Big Bang, and that is the only involvement it would have; everything else works out on its own. Basically, I am an atheist, but I am open minded.
Politics: I am mainly Liberal, but I also lean slightly Libertarian (people who basically believe in economic freedom AND personal freedom). I do not think that the current administration is doing a good job and you probably feel the same way (statistically speaking, of course). Religion should stay out of government and laws completely; if you do not shove your religion down my throat, I will not try to shove my beliefs down yours.
Activism-type stuff that I complain about: You may have noticed that I initially gave my height/mass in metric units; this is because I believe that the United States should convert fully to the metric system. It is easier and more logical than our current, obsolete system of measurement, because it uses base 10 (100 cm = 1 m), and everything is linked through water -- 1 mL = 1 cm^3 = 1 g. 0 ºC is freezing, 100 ºC is boiling. Can YOU remember how many pints are in a gallon, or how many inches are in a mile? The US Imperial System is a mess. Switching would also make communication with other countries easier because ALL OF THEM USE SI! Speaking of other countries, the EU (European Union) is going to enforce a law beginning January 1st, 2010, that they passed a while ago that bans all imports that do not contain solely metric units; meanwhile, the US has a law that forbids metric-only units on products. To put it bluntly, we will be screwed when it comes to trade if we are not a metric society. And no, we cannot make companies have separate assembly lines for every product, one metric and one imperial, because it would be WAY too expensive. /end rant
