Technically, my title is wrong. It isn't July yet and all is well in the world of Carrie. Only, all isn't. One year ago I was happily in London, taking it what I'd always believed to be the most beautiful city in the world. London became more than a vacation spot, I could see it as my future home. This morning, after coming home from what was an epic sleepover, I witnessed a startling headline: "More Suspects Held in U.K. Terror Attack." Seconds later, I saw that it happened in London and that the bombs would have killed hundreds in Picadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. This is an important time for England: Wimbledon, Princess Diana's Tribute Concert, and a Pride parade are happening just this week. Only two years ago at this time, London was dealing with the attacks in the Underground. All I want to say is that my prayers are with both the city and the people involved in the Scotland attack.
