Where I am headed...

So life has an amazing way of putting us in places where choices are inevitable, unyielding and somewhat permanent. I feel blessed to be where I am, have no idea where I am headed, but strive to take every day to give thanks for my wife, family, friends and for the place I am heading.

The shot was taken at Paradise on the Brazos, just outside Graham Texas. It's the best sport climbing area to me less than to hours away. That particular route is about 40-45 ft and has some wicked exposure under the arete. If the climber missed that one clip it would have resulted in hitting rock most likely. In the photo he is actually on the easy part of the climb, the hard part was the overhanging stuff that lead up to it.
