so tomorrow I fly to Lima Peru for my first international missions trip... so far my limited amount of missions experience includes being an adult leader with some students during the summer of 2004, and once when I was in 8th grade (and sooooo not a believer) I went with a team of people on a two week missions trip, I don't remember much about the missions part about it, mostly I remember picking up stones, avoiding going up to people, and climbing up a volcano... oh and then my junior year, which was also in 2004, for spring break I went to VA for 5 days to help at a children's home and school. Anyways, all this is to say that I am very excited about going to Peru. I don't have to lead, I get to just follow and do what people tell me to do. I also get to play some soccer. Or lots of soccer. Whatever works for them.
Anyways, today I am sick. tomorrow i fly out. so really PRAY for me... I don't want to have hurt throat in Peru.
