cruel culture aka fabian simoneit is a 24 year old drum'n'bass-producer from fuerstenfeldbruck nearby munich/germany. he grew up in the west of munich as a son of a teacher and was hardly into music since the beginning. he started learning piano at 7 years of age and began playing the drums after a few years. 1997 he got his first pc and since then he is experimenting with electronic sounds on the computer. after nearly 10 years to evolve his sound he now brings mainly deep, atmospheric and hard drum'n'bass but also works out some ambient/triphop/chillout-tunes. By the side he mixed some live-gigs and produced and mixed some hiphop-albums. trying to have no boundaries in dnb he is collaborating very often so he worked on tunes together with hi-lar, re-fuse, cut, er.ic, itchthrill and some others, so all tracks get their different and own style. coming from playing drums the focus in his productions is the drumwork but at the other side he often uses harmonic spheres and melodies combined with hard basslines and finished up with some deep and spacey effects. At the moment he is increasing his dj-skills to get active in the clubs. the first releases on "producer-network-records" and "urban poetry records" are out now...
