"Shelter the homeless poor." --The Book of Isaiah
Give the people a home.
That's our vision. We want homeless people everywhere to have clean, affordable shelter. Not living in doorways or in cardboard boxes or in stacks of garbage, as millions of people do now.
We're designing blueprints for small, sustainable shelters that can be built quickly by volunteers in developing nations for the poorest of the poor. Perhaps these people have lost everything from war, disease or natural disasters. Maybe they've come from their ancestral homes to the cities to find work, but now they have no place to live. We just want to help. That's Phase 1.
If you like this idea, we can talk with you about the rest:

JULY 2008 Clean Green Studios LLC: green product design with the world in mind. We like to collaborate with designers, mechanical engineers, green product manufacturers and other creatives who have their own company. We also like to collaborate, of course, with other organizations with a social justice mission. Let us know who *you* are! Our first green product is a small, sustainable, affordable home for people in developing nations. This will be an ideal home for volunteer teams to build for people living in poverty. Right now we're working with architects on blueprints for Hope Studio, the name chosen for the first home. Hope Studio will have a number of exciting green features that we'll be happy to share with you soon.
Found our visionary assistant project manager! 1 week ago
And he was right under our nose all this time, attending the same weekly home community group in Portland. He's taking care of some things that have sat, just hoping to be noticed, in the must-do pile for several months. Collaboration and brainstorming work wonders.
Now we're looking for a part-time bookkeeper and some cool design studio space....let us know if you know....
