On the 28th of July 2008 Moscow Grooves Institute consisting of Pavel Khotin, Yuri Shulgin and Boris Nazarov as well as Artem Yakushenko ("White Ostrog") were playing at the demonstration of F5 new collection. MGI performance was of a big success; combination of live music and defile turned out to be so vivid and interesting that now representatives of fashion industry are seriously considering possibilities of further collaboration with MGI.

Moscow Grooves Institute gig in Japan has been of great success. About 150 persons gathered at Super Deluxe club in Tokyo, where the performance of MGI took place. According to the musicians, during the performance they did not sense the notorious cultural and informative gap between Russia and Japan at all. «Magnetic Power» in the "ICONIC WEDDING" compilation

In summer of 2008 Japanese label Rambling records releases the "ICONIC WEDDING" compilation. It includes 15 lyric lounge compositions by musicians from different countries that, according to compilers point of view, connote with the notion "ideal wedding". The track "Magnetic Power" by Ozone cocktail project was also included in the compilation.
KUTIMAN in Russia

At the beginning of autumn 2008 Citadel records releases the first album by a young musician from Israel Ophir Kutiel (pen-name, as well as the name of the release is Kutiman). Kutiman started working at the album after moving to Tel-Aviv from Zichron, a small village in the north of the country. Specific style, elaborated by Kutiel, combines elements of funk, hip-hop, afro-beat, psychedelic rock and even folk, but does not coincide with any of these styles.
Citadel records releases "Everybody's song"

In June of 2008 Citadel records label issues the first album by a young Japanese group Chimidoro that is named "Minna No Uta" ("Everybody's song"). The constant members of the project Nao Suzuki (drums), Kentaro Miyama and Hiroaki Kusumoto (vocal) are close friends for many years already. At school, taking example by the heroes of a popular Japanese TV show, they created a group of bicyclists Chimidoro that means "bloody" in Japanese. Curiously enough this group laid foundation to the musical project. Nao Suzuki, who was seriously engaged in music earlier than his friends, became the initiator of Chimidoro band creation.
Citadel records sums up the results of Electro Salad contest

The contest of electronic musical projects Electro Salad, held by Citadel records independent record label together with Rambler, has come to the end.
For the past 3 months more than 200 projects from different cities took part in the contest, and it transformed selecting of the finalist into a rather difficult task.
We thank all the participants of the contest and promise to analyze presented material thoroughly!
The winner of Electro Salad contest will be announced after the 15th of June.
Citadel records at the "Kinotavr" film festival

Since the 7 th till the 15 th of June the open national film festival "Kinotavr" will be taking place in Sochi. This year famous representatives of Russian cinema: directors and producers, actors, script writers and projectionists will band together at the shore of the Black Sea for the 19 th time.
Citadel records label will also take part in the festival. At "Kinotavr" Citadel will present its new project Citadel Cinema www.citadelcinema.net - the on-line catalogue, comprising more than 5000 authors compositions for cinema, television and advertisement.
