right now, there are 36 mp3s in my ideas folder, which is made up of demos that each of us have made separately, as well as a few collaborations. they are all very different from what we've put out before. this doesn't include all the left over ideas from the last two records. which we will be sure to play around with again.
anthony, nick and i enjoyed the first jam of the new house today. it was more than rejuvenating. we have a bunch of keyboards set up in our new space, including a rhodes piano. from behind my drum set, i can look out the giant window and see a creek flowing through our back yard. this is the best atmosphere the 5 of us have ever had the opportunity to create music in together. it feels like your inside a little log cabin, up on a mountain, in the middle of the woods. but it's only a 15 minute drive from home. there is no doubt that this place will play a huge part in the vibe of this next record.
i want thank you all again for making it possible for us to do this for a living.
