i am in seattle washington today and i all ive been thinking about is the next circa album. cant begin to explain how lucky i feel to be able to be this musical free at this point in my life- playing my solo songs is so much fun and it allows me the comfort and freedom to do pretty much anything i can think of, but one thing ive learned playing with these songs is that you can produce that same type of comfort and exciting freedom any wear you want. nothing has ever made me felt like i feel on stage with circa, even just being in the same room with them is magical. the rough ideas the band had left the last album with coupled with the new ideas that have recently been conceived have me at a complete loss for words. now...its just a matter of time. i will do my best to check in more often and we will need you to do the same. this transition is going to be tricky , im not even sure how its all going to pan out. i just know its going to take all of us, even you reading this,to challenge yourself little bit. hahah---usually when writing i think of giving birth, i would compare the writing of the album to giving birth, but for this one im going to think about like we're building a house. this was inspired by some who posted recently on our website, so thank you caroline. this album is going to be the most important thing ill ever do. until i built a house and have a baby in it i suppose
