One my father's favorite terms of endearment for me as a prepubescent child was, "fucking cunt!" According to wikipedia: In referring to a woman, cunt is an abusive term usually considered the most offensive word in that context ....

My dear friend Mel lent my a book, Cunt: A Declaration of Independence, by Inga Muscio.

Its inspired me to put my own cunt on a pedestal.

Summer Music Road Trip! May 26

Dave, Mel, Taylor and I just had a blast on our little trip to Bend for three days of rock and roll (Built to Spill, Michael Franti, Mates of State, The Decemberists, Death Cab For Cutie, The National, Modest Mouse, and not to mention... the Breeders)! We carpooled down, found a nice, cheep room, and partied like [almost] rock stars in the VIP section for all three shows. Score! I especially enjoyed Michael Franti, Built to Spill, and the Breeders.

Not a lot of news to report on this - it was just fun, and that's all that new for reporting. I plan on making it for more concerts this Summer. Did you know its Summer starting today? Oh, really? I wouldn't have guessed.

Someone needs to make an RSS feed for all Portland/NW Music events. Could be my next pet project... Word.
