"I've been blessed to work with many creative people throughout my career, but the work I'm most passionate about is Christian Media production."
In 2003 Butch McCrackin redesigned the website for his church and began web streaming the worship service from his company mc2direct.com. Four years later he joined the video director's team responsible for capturing that same annointing.
"I'll never forget meeting with Walter Silverburg the weekend before my first time in the director's chair. The following Sunday we had a guest vocalist of whom I am a huge fan, Joann Rosario. I asked Walter about pacing, shot selection and how to best capture the emotion without disrupting the worship experience."
Walter Silverburg and the Silver Mountain production team are key components to the success of several ministries including SJC and T. D. Jakes.
"The worship service was incredible, beyond words, and thanks to the support of Ed Robinson and the prayers from several thousand friends on myspace - the service was captured without a hitch and it has become a favorite on youtube as well.."
Currently, the team of the St. John Media Ministry captures four services in multiple locations. Those services are streamed live online, captured for web archive, captured for weekly television broadcast and duplicated for DVD/CD distribution available immediately following each worship service. Typically the Sunday service web archive is available online before Sunday dinner is served.
"We shoot for live-on-tape production, that means no post-production editing. We are capturing the equivalent of four (2 hour movies) each weekend and completing distribution ready copies every Sunday. From a technical audio/video perspective we call ourselves the no-do-over ministry, because there is no room for mistakes.."
What a blessing it is to be able to see the hand of God in what you do. Services are available online at sjbcfamily.com, youtube.com/sjbcfamily and iTunes Podcasts.
