Biography

What once had began as a side project of home recordings, Breathe Clouds has now evolved into Dylan Ethier's main focus since 2005. Currently residing in Portland, Oregon, the band previously had changed several locations. In 2006 Taylor Mott began performing as part of the band. Their sets have ranged from soft acoustic to a wide variety of electric and synthetic sounds.

The debut EP "The Warmth Didn't Last" was self released in 2005 with a small run of hand painted jackets. Since then Breathe Clouds have released a total of six albums, all of which are now rare and out of print. Love Note Collectables' first release, 2007's self titled EP, featured five unreleased songs recorded in the summer of 2006. The most recent release "Transition" is a split album with Taylor Mott's "Iriya". Transition is a completely instrumental album, recorded with modified and distorted acoustic instruments.

Dylan has just finished a portfolio of experimental photography titled "Light". Light is photographic shapes and colors formed by exposure to light. Created over a span of six months, approximately thirty six images were collected.

Currently Breathe Clouds are preparing for their next full length album, due out late in 2008. With a new line up of members the band will continues to perform on a regular basis.
