I'm Ashley Morgan, a jazz trumpet player. My full time gig is The Ashley Morgan Quintet, producing music described by some critics as "hard hitting, hard blowing, and hard swinging contemporary jazz". I am also one half of The Enormous Horns, a freelance horn section and band, the author of Up The Octave, a contemporary trumpet method, trumpet player with indie pop funsters Enormous, co-founder of Big Arena Records, founder of Musicians Republic, and blogger at Brass Revolver and Making Wax.

I have a music profile on virb, http://www.virb.com/ashleymorgan (please go ahead and add me as a friend on that account as well) but I haven't uploaded audio content to it yet. At the moment my quintet is writing new material and should be recording it in the next couple of months. My pop band, Enormous, has plenty of material online that you can listen to if you like at http://www.enormousreloaded.com. There is a free promo EP on that site as well. Let me know what you think of Enormous. I'd love to get some feedback on both the music and the website.

Viva la Apple! Well, I used to play some brass instruments but I got tired and moved on to percussion.. or down, use whatever word fits best to you.
