Made the 45 mile trek to Providence, Rhode Island to pick up some friends at the airport the other day. Traffic was atrocious. The snow and sunset made it a bit more bearable. The entire drive took almost 3 hours. Playing with my camera was the only thing keeping me from gouging and/or cutting myself. ;)
I give you Traffic, backed by White Christmas. HA!

this is definitely the only bearable holiday song there is. All the cheery stuff makes you go nuts. Beautiful song...

Jesus of Nazareth, Brad. That's got to be the most depressing version of White Christmas I've ever heard. Add three hours of traffic to that and I'd be well on my way to a warm bath and slitting my wrists vertically.
Why not listen to cheery holiday music on long, treacherous commutes? Ring out the old, ring in the new and all that. Oh and don't forget pirates!

I know the feeling buddy. I drove from Wilmington to Charlotte and back in the same day last week (3.5 hours there and 3.5 hours back). The return trip was a bit more bearable because I had someone with me, but it was still a bit mind numbing.

That's a really pretty sunset... I'm sure that helped. I really love Jamie Randolph's, "White Christmas." Makes me think of all the good times this year has brought and all the new experiences next year will bring. :)
