Oooh, the romantic Midwest. ^^ I live in Milwaukee, and believe me, I head "up nort" every summer. Whether it's Red Granite, Ladysmith, Door County...everything about it is somewhat mystical. Like living in a dream. XD

im curious, why did you decide to move into the forest? what was the origin of the purpose of the trip and what was the original thought meant to give? was there any incentive to go there other than to get away? did you intentionally go in order to find a way to channel creativity you knew you inhibited but was unable to provoke in the first place? im also wondering how the idea that spawned the incentive to actually leave for a less complicated environment? there are a lot of writers on the theme, and im curious if their writings somehow influenced you to go or if it was a choice based on your own ideas of, i guess, whats good for you? i understand these questions might need answers which have very personal and private tendencies so if you do not feel like answering then that is ok, but if you do decide to answer please do so thouroughly or not at all. thanks and have a good day!
