bMethe is a self-taught, freelance artist/designer raised in the bowels of suburban Columbus, Ohio. After his major program (medical illustration) was eliminated after his first quarter of college the artist inside him fell into deep hibernation. After languishing in the art filled wonderland of Seattle for three years and amassing a wonderful collection of rock concert poster art the creative beast within clawed its way to the surface and took control of him, starting to cultivate a style of his own. After moving to the conservative wasteland of Cincinnati, Ohio, the beast was angered and lashed out, spewing forth hand-drawn artwork for local bands, national touring acts and indie rock venues. The beast continues to devour music, popular culture, literature and politics and regurgitate it in the form of concert posters and art prints. Brian loves to work with small bands, touring bands, venues and promoters that appreciate the off kilter nature of his work and like to reward him with tickets to shows and checks that don't bounce.
