Blowtorch is an entertainment company that joins forces with you, an online legion of young, creative thinkers, to produce unique feature length and short form films. See, we kinda look at it like this: If you're part of the filmmaking process, and it's not just a bunch of slickster Hollywood executives, there's a good chance you might actually like what you see.
Take our "Short Film Big Screen Challenge" for example:
You submit a video of your best short film idea, you can shoot it or just pitch it. The theme has to be something "TECHNOLOGY" related; internet dating, killer robot vacuums, used time machine salesmen...whatever. If one of yours wins, you'll be flown out to LA to shoot your idea to be shown in hundreds of theaters, nationwide, this spring.
