I write songs all at once
there is no format. no planning.
i just sing, and whatever comes out first gets to be in the song.

they're mostly accidents
written in places all over
like a flat in jerusalem
or an airplane over the baltic
or a lonley tennessee drive
recorded in a hotel bath tub or under my covers.
my only tool, a small keyboard that packs nicely into my suitcase.

One day, lord willin', I will have a band.
Like a jazz band.
And i'll frame my tiny key board and hang it on some wall.

until then...use that imagination.

these little melodies have all sprung from the cuts and wounds that I wear.
and though the sword draws blood...
i am happy that it also has drawn ink.
