Hello. Please turn off your computer... now!
Since you are reading this, you did not turn off your computer like I just told you to. Why not? If you keep reading, I'm gonna get real boring on you or something.
Folks at my Facebook friendslist have praised me as "idealistic, intelligent, independent, knowledgeable, friendly". So far. Can't wait for some of the negatives to show up. But thanks anonymous friends.
You have been warned. You can still turn off your computer, you know. In search of my true inner self once upon a time I undertook a pilgrimage to the mystical website of okcupid.com. Or maybe I was just horribly bored on numerous occasions. Or even more likely, I was supposed to be doing something else, yet merrily procrastinating. Whatever the case, here's some of what deep wisdom I found... My 'Spirit Animal' is a The Jaguar Spirit. If I was a Norse god I'd be Odin. If I was a Greek god I'd be Dionysis. My dream job supposedly is The Tympani Player. My role playing game class is Wizard. If I was a thief I'd be the Mastermind. What country am I? India. If I was from the Underworld I'd be a Ghost. Whats my philosophy? Regressionist. Am I American? I'm are Al-qaeda (a real comfort and proof wackos design tests too). If I was a Jedi or Sith I'd be... Luke Skywalker. If I was an operating system I'd be... Linux. If I was a serial killer I'd be Richard Ramirez (why did I take that test?). The stereotype of my personality is a Technopagan. My personality defect is I'm a Robot. If I was one of the four elements I'd be Air.
What more could anyone possibly want to know about me!? More serious stuff? But that may be even more boring. Please... just turn off your computer!
I really am me. It's not a fake name or anything. On the one hand I'm aware of the possible drawbacks of not using an alias on the other I'm exploring the benefits. Like having to be mostly kind - I'm sick and tired of reading aliases being mean to each other in unproductive discussions. The following is largely a mix of text cut from other sites, because I'm having second thoughts on what and how much to reveal where. So for now I'm settling for a dichotomy of lumping it all in here. But I'll prune it.
Since I don't know who I am (and because it's fun) I have taken a couple of online personality tests. The type of test that sums you up in four letters and appears to be somewhat serious has crossed my surfing path at least three times (ie here). They all agree that my first three letters are INT, while the fourth is a J or a P. Supposedly I'm either a Mastermind or an Architect type of person. Sounds neat. Here's some of what the tests and I kind of agree on...
* more introverted than extroverted
* more thinking based than feeling based
* rational
* need plenty of quiet to explore my interests
And finally a few facts to level out all the pseudo-psychological mumbo-jumbo above:
M.Sc. (Horticulture) from The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen, Denmark. Professional interests include scientific journalism, ecology and bioinformatics. Studied computer science for little more than a year before changing to horticulture.
Avid fan of football (US: soccer). In particular I follow FC København, Denmark and various European leagues. I post football (us: soccer) betting picks at Danish site TipsOmTips.com I'm trying out running a blog solely on FC København: Copenhagen Files. Playing myself with FF Ib Jacquet.
Write and blog at Newsvine. Before that I wrote articles at ShortNews.com. At my Last.fm account you can see what music I'm listening to. At my deviantart account you can see some graphic stuff I've done. I recently bought a camera and have created a Flickr account.
I like gray and words very much. Better yet: shades of gray on shades of gray with very long texts. Like this basically. Although one has to wonder, if anyone will ever read this? Which at the end of the day really doesn't matter anyway, as I just signed up to play around and see if virb is worth recommending. But I guess if one day I wake up with brain damage, all I need to remember is "virb.com" and ta-daa there's a list of all the sites I have accounts at.
Lastly I'll quote a kindred mind of mine, The Architect from The Matrix. Mark his words:
"The problem is choice."
PS: Don't turn off your computer. You might hurt it's feelings.

Also I still exist in real life. Well, I make occasional appearances.
I.e. I play football (US: soccer) with FF Ib!

Thanks for the praise! Did not understand what exactly would have required special effort - the shirt shop or the embedding? Here I used a custom module and simply pasted two links in it - there is no other way one can do it. JS is not allowed in general so embedding what you want is a no no.
