Bassik Grooove is...

Me and sometimes myself (Jerry), oh and occasionally my cat Billy will come in and snear his snout at me, which means the Eq is a bit off. They have very sensitive ears ya know. My Production manager(better half) is always floating about saying things like "turn that down its too loud" or "you can do that after you have washed up", in a what is this sh*t manner. I am no spring chicken but still manage to enjoy all of todays genres and still maintain a strong interest in the past.

I live just outside Ipswich, Suffolk, UK. I have been making music for about 8 years but have been a keen collector since about 1978. For many years I ran a mobile disco in the Suffolk area and always wanted to try and create some music of my own. I tend to make music depending on my mood at the time. I'm predominately a House artist but also dabble in downtempo sounds. My influences range from Disco/Jazz/Funk/Reggae/80'sElectronic /Ambient /House / Techno. I like electronic music with a good dose of jazzy chords and jazz elements. I make music for myself but i'm equally pleased if others find something they like in my work. I have a releases through "Soul People Music" in New York (digital download) .See releases below. Further work due in Autumn for Soul People Music.
