About
ASYLUM SEVENTY7 is the name used by freelance artist, illustrator & designer Mark Leary.
I always work my hardest to be original and explore any project with enthusiasm and maturity. I hate shallow work! I'm influenced by the weird and wonderful - be it music, art, fashion or people. I enjoy taking work left-field and love nothing more than working with people who have the same passion for exploring the new and experimenting with the norm, to create something that shows the best of my abilities and their desires!
I have been illustrating and designing for around 4 years and in 2005 I finished my BA(hons) in Illustration and attended the New Designers exhibition in London, after this I carried on with art and illustration then in 2006 I set up Asylum seventy7 as a base for all my art projects.
I am enthusiastic and creative with a good working knowledge of Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. I work well under pressure and keep to tight deadlines. I am friendly and professional with a flexible attitude. I am quick and eager to learn new skills and I am currently expanding my software knowledge to include Dreamweaver.
