In 2001 I started teaching myself guitar and also started studying for a degree. After 3 years of balancing university and motherhood, I started writing my own material and wrote my first song. Writing songs is a great release for me. I found it at a time in my life when I needed it the most. In 2005 and a few songs later, I dropped out university to give myself more time to concentrate on music.
I'm still busy writing, recording and programming at the moment. Look out for newer and improved mixes of all the tracks on here..I'm busy recording guitar for some of the tracks, and some scratchin on them too, in the very near future.... some new songs aswell... look out for a song called 'This Is It' featuring guest MC/Scratch Dj DX9, coming soon.
After playing acoustic gigs in 2006/2007, I also started learning production using Reason and Ableton, so I'm doing everything I can to get the tracks finished... Its been difficult latley as I'm really looking forward to getting out and start gigging the songs, but I'm not ready just yet!!
On my player, theres a remix of Horizon by The Prisoners of Technology (P.O.T) who have remixed the likes of The Beastie Boys and Wu- Tang Clan.
Inspiration
Life, its ups and downs, the universe, doing something I feel passionate about,everything that's beautiful, and trying to understand what all this means.
Influences
I listen to all diffrent sorts of music depending on my mood!.....Folk, Rock Breakbeat, Punk Electro, DnB, Electronica, World Music, Reggae Dub, Techno Trip-Hop etc.
