I design - usually logos...sometimes other stuff. I'm no Bob Ross (RIP) but I also fancy myself an artist of sorts. I believe art and design can work together. I also believe that they are often mistaken for each other. I love being creative but find that living in the real world can make that difficult. Creativity has been commodified and it's much easier to roll with status quo (web 2.0 anyone?) I'm a jaded optimist...if ever there was such a thing. A walking contradiction, like a lot of people, I guess. I like meeting new people and making new friends despite being somewhat misanthropic. I'm not as cool or mysterious as I'd like to be. And chances are, neither are you. I hope to leave this world in a better state than it was when I came into it. And by 'world' I mean the earth and the people on it. Humanity. I never mean to antagonize anyone but probably do so on occasion, through some fault of my own. I love VIRB. I hate MySpace. But I've still got a profile on it (...it's like smoking...you know it's bad for you but you do it, anyway). I don't smoke. I'm happily married. And I find writing this to be both annoying and narcissistic. Oh yeah, and I'm also awkward...usually in a decidedly passive way, though as of late, I've decided to assert my awkwardness more fully. To the max. I'm really looking to connect with some like-minded individuals. If you're interested, you can check out my website at anyism.com to see some of my work. You'll soon be rivaling me on the group creation front - was that 2 in one day? At least I restrict myself to about one a week - and people told me that was bad! But you do it so well, so I won't complain! I'm glad we established a friendship here, you get more interesting each time we talk and I've barely touched on the things you do outside of Virb (is there anything outside of Virb - I need to check!) Keep them coming...
