In icy halls of winter memory I laid
Shadows and dust my heartbeat silence
Crumbled dead leaves in a graveside urn
My soul, tattered by lost autumn winds
Dark shapes of night in endless twilight
Then from another world a distant voice
Echoes of life past, taste of sap green,
Berries and bloodred on thorns sweet
Air black with wings, light with fresh snow
Rustle of grass, earth quickens, a sound
Drop of sweet water, painbitter, tearsalty
Through hollow rooms stole the thaw of my soul

Italian, Russian and British classics, folklore, mythologies, any science, history (especially ancient, medieval and Renaissance), art, philosophy, archaeology, anthropology, and anything else that catches my attention. And why not... Harry Potter too ;)
