alphacut records was founded in 2002 as a drum&bass label with a strict whitelabel philosophy, featuring up and coming artists from all over europe. until today the imprint is being transformed into a platform for new kinds of energetic uptempo breakbeat tunes and beyond. we conceive and conduct a wide range of electronic music with a focus on broken beats, uncompromising sounds, experimental and informal innovations and a healthy bit of rough dancefloor attitude.

alphacut records is releasing more or less dancefloor compatible experimental drum&bass 12inch artist split singles. mainly set up for djs and collectors, reflecting in features like locked grooves, handnumbered limitations and coloured vinyl.
on the other hand, alphacute records is the sublabel for 7inch split releases with affiliated labels, showing the background scene beyond the usual d&b bizness, dealing with experimental electronics of all kinds imaginable.

so what we did and do is just to celebrate an honest, demanding & sophisticated d.i.y. style of presentation for our music, artists, records and parties. we proudly present real artist music and no narrow-minded internal-scene-crap, for your restful listening pleasure!

demos are always apprechiated. its said that alphacut is one of the rare labels, who give feedback to every cd sent in. wow, unbelieveable! more or less of it, depending on your material, of course... however, don't hesitate to torture us with your noise.
