Scrubs

1 comment | posted Oct 28

every day on the train, i see people wearing these medical scrubs. do they change to another pair of scrubs when they get to the hospital or doctor's office? i really hope so. not only are they exposing those scrubs to the many pollutants that lurk in the air but what about the sick people around them? i'm on the L train and it's always packed to the point of elbows jabbing, feet stomping, and bodies rubbing (usually up against someone totally disgustingly stinky). and being that we're heading towards another season change, a lot of people are sick with the cold or the flu or something worse. is this really ok?

and here i am, needing to get surgery to remove this cyst in my neck which means that i'll be in a hospital, which means that i'll be exposed to those people that are wearing dirty scrubs to work every day, which means that i'm shit out of luck. boo.

Thanks, for the add and hang in there you will be OK !!!! I am confident that you will be fine and make a full healthy recovery. I always hated riding the subway when it gets packed and it always seemed that someone either sick or with Higene issues had to be up next to me so I always wore a scarf and covered my face to lessen my exposure to their germs and odors, and I always carried Anti-bacterial hand gel that comes in a pocket sized bottle. As far as your surgery it will turn out great as I feel that you will be fine.........
