Friends, Music and Video... we're helping you stay connected.

Hey there, stranger. My name is Adam. However, I sometimes go by the name "Hyde." Don't bother asking about that until you know me better...

Speaking of which... Just who the hell am I? Well, I'm just a regular guy, for the most part. I've done a lot of stupid things in my life. Every mistake a young man or woman could possibly make, I've made it (possibly more than once). I'm not a completely fuck-up, though...

I'm interested in many things considered strange or unusual by so-called "normal" society. Well, what the hell is "normal" anyway? Who gets to decide what is normal in this world? I do, that's who! I like dark, scary, weird, eerie, freaky, crazy things - so fucking sue me!

(Note: The damn chart doesn't update as often as it's supposed to, so don't be surprised if it says I haven't listened to anything for a day or two - or more...)

Currently Reading: Nothing... Christ on a cracker, I need a new (bunch of) book(s)!

Where do I begin? If you know me even the slightest bit, you know that I'm a writer (and if you didn't, shame on you); and of course, no man or woman can claim to be such a thing if he or she doesn't read (and a lot, at that). It would be futile of me to attempt a "best of" type list, just for the sake of doing so; instead, let's just say that I typically read anything in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and comedy (though very little in the latter, as most comedic literature is pure rubbish). Understand, though, that I only like a small fraction of what I read. I am an incredibly picky reader.

I do have an all-time favorite novel, believe it or not, and that is Clive Barker's Imajica.

If you consider yourself a fantasy fan, or you're just a literary nut in general, pick up a copy of this wonderful novel today. I promise, you haven't read much like it in this lifetime.

I've watched a ridiculous number of movies in my life. If I had to name a favorite, I suppose it would have to be "The Shawshank Redemption," starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, and adapted from the Stephen King novella for the screen and directed by Frank Darabont.

It is an absolutely wonderful film, powerfully moving, at once sad and hopeful... You simply must see it, at least once (if not many times), before you die.

It may turn out to be a dopey move, but I decided to upgrade to Microsoft Vista Home Premium. Read all about it, then decide for yourself if I'm a sucker.
