I wrote this particular poem a little over a year ago. It was born out of a moment of genuine reflection on human sadness.

Activities
I've noticed that I am really into cooking lately. I haven't quite perfected the art of cooking for one, but certainly know how to cook for a good-sized family. At this point, I just end up with a lot of leftovers. My most recent cooking attempt was Chicken Lasagna. Mmmm. Delicious. I also love relaxing at home, watching movies/TV, and making a pretty fire in the fireplace (yes, woodburning). On the weekends, I enjoy frequenting a lovely little coffee shop called The Spotted Cow and get much of my reading done there.

So that movie "becoming Jane" was surprisingly good... I was thinking of how much you would like it the entire time, but the ending suited me a little more so. Hope your week is going well!!

The weekend getaway was a bust. :( The passes closed up before Tyler got off work, so we hung around town all weekend. I went to church, but did the 9 o'clock service. I wanted to see if I knew anyone there, since that's the one I'll be going to once I start doing Kid's Church next weekend. How was your weekend??
