Photographer, divided between the happiness of the simple things and a certain melancholy tinted of onirism, I try to bring the emotion, the disorder in my photography.
"I always wanted to photograph...
My very first camera was an old Kodak with flash cube that my aunt had offered to me, when I was 12. I used all the film in a half day!
Then, my desire fell asleep.
My decisive meeting was with Denis Olivier, since 4 years ago; he gave me confidence in me and feelings to try to make my photographs, without timidity and decency.
I particularly like the contrasted photographs, saturated, with many grains, which gives much character.
Make photomanipulations, means of taming various facets in me, sometimes very dark, like a negative mirror. I haven't formal photography training of any kind and shoot my photographs based on instincts and feelings.
My tastes in art photography are rather ecclectic, I love much Sarah Moon, Anton Corbijn, Michael Kenna while passing through very "pop" photographer David LaChapelle.
I use Canon 350D, Canon 5D, Hasselblad 500CM and some Polaroid like sx-70, 600, 1000 and a polaroid back NPC MF-1 for Hasselblad."
Born 1975, Hennebont, France.
I currently live in Bordeaux.
