"It is often quoted by many that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder then what is beautiful is subjective to the cognitive sensations there by causing specific emotional and physical reactions to that which is beautiful. However, beauty is also objective when there is an agenda of intent from the creator of the "idea." The "idea" that is beauty is discussed as that which has wholeness, harmony, and radiance. This means that the intended "idea" must have a unity of all elements in order to appeal to the individual.
Art is defined as the conscious use of skill and creative imagination in the production of aesthetic objects, music and literature, and are physical expressions of one's conceptual "idea" of beauty. The "idea' of beauty is also relative to each individuals perception and understanding. This means that no two people look at an object in the same way. This concept can transcend to all aspects of humanity such as the way beauty is found in everything in our reality. What is beautiful to one person may not be to another.
Realizing the "truth" in beauty, and realizing what true beauty is can very much depend on ones opinion and attitude towards life itself. Oscar Wilde said it best when he said "Life imitates art far more than art imitates life." If that is true indeed, then to me life is beautiful, and "beauty" is a realization that I am alive."
