The duo of Bill DeMain and Molly Felder draw inspiration from their favorite music - The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, Ennio Morricone, Antonio Carlos Jobim - and make it into something that's familiar and fresh, timeless and tuneful. As MOJO Magazine puts it, "Their songs are an imaginative line in classic pop." Since forming Swan Dive in 1993, Bill (guitar, vocals) and Molly (vocals, percussion) have been connecting with fans both in their hometown of Nashville and in far-off Japan, where they've enjoyed stellar success - four top 10 singles, many television and radio appearances, videos on MTV and multi-city tours. In the U.S. they've appeared on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, and opened shows for Norah Jones, Pernice Brothers, Jill Sobule, Jane Siberry and Sixpence None The Richer. They've also placed songs on TV programs such as The L Word and Felicity, and in the film National Lampoon's Gold Diggers. They've twice won the Best Pop Album in the Independent Music Awards - for Swan Dive in 2000 and June in 2002. Their latest album, Until, is out in June 2007.
